Let me say that I’m always awe struck at how deep Megan can write. She catches cords within her characters souls and exposes them bare… Naked. Yes, the title more than eloquently suits this story. I do spoiler free reviews but try my best to alert the potential reader as to what the story is about. We all have scars, some deeper than others. But what happens when an opportunity comes again, one that’s come before and has left a scar, a deep one. Do we dare reach for it? Grabbing hold for all we can, or do we heed the warnings, our scars have left us with? Is there such a thing as too safe? This story exposes all for it’s characters that have you teetering on every word read. You’re glued to every page needing to know what prevails. Needing not wanting. Megan has not only introduced her characters, she’s had you befriend them. You need to know what happens. A true reading feast for the senses! As one of the lucky ones to get my hands on the next ‘Order
of Solace’ books, by Author Megan Hart, I had to share how
phenomenal it is! I’m only about half way done but –WOW!
I so love this series. Very edgy and different as each one tells a truly different tale.
No one person is exactly the same, and neither should a book from one series. Megan rocks it with her Order of the Solace.

Insatiable- Lauren Dane
Fantastic!!! Even if you have never thought to try a Sci-Fi inspired romance, this one will knock your socks off! Truly I’m not a huge Sci-Fi nut. Sure, I was REALLY into the Star Wars trilogy and good grief LOVED my Apollo and Starbuck (Battle Star Galatica for those young-uns out there), but to read a Sci-Fi romance? Hadn’t really thought about it…DO NOW!!!
Not overly in your face Sci-Fi with so much info that your trying to figure out what the heck their talking about…perfect amounts of everything!
A GREAT summer time read- Enjoy!
Whispered Lies- Sherilynn Kenyon and Diana Love
Wow- This new BAD series rocks! Undercover agents (of course to die for gorgeous) seriously rotten bad guys (murder, mayhem and madness) a heroine that can hold her own, make this story shoot off the pages.
Takes off in a RUN from page one and doesn’t slow in pace!
Another sizzling summer time read!

Moon Sworn- Kari Arthur’s LAST Riley Jenson series novel.
What a bittersweet read. I think that the Riley Jenson series was one of my all time favorite series. I LOVED Riley and her journeys. Moon Sworn was MORE than I even thought I could hope for. Perfect ending to such a perfect series.
Bravo Ms. Arthur!

Riley Jenson is HALF Vampire HALF Werewolf and ALL attitude. Riley is a woman who knows what she wants and makes no excuses for what (or who) she may or may not have to do get it.
She wants a mate, family and roots.
It’s not her fault in addition to an already screwed up blood line, someone mucked with her current genes, and now they’re ever changing. Morphing slowly, but morphing none the less.
She’s works for the policing agency the governs the paranormal. A job that requires many sacrifices, near deaths and adventures that take her to places best left for nightmares…mostly.

WOW- Um, Like seriously WOW!!!
What a knock your socks off treat for the senses. Alice in Wonderland for the GROWN-UPS with ten times more twists and turns.
A quirky, colorful and truly a magical tale that keeps you guessing as to just what will happen next, and to whom…even has strange fuzzy critters running around.
The events that shaped Tovah, break your heart…you feel for her as no doubt, you’ve met a ‘Tovah’ somewhere at some point in your life. Her adventurous journey is just that, an adventure that covers all scales of the spectrum.
Fear, Mystery, Love, Lust, Need, Sadness, Heartbreak, Humor, Adventure and best of all…Undying Friendships that are built to withstand the true test of time.
Who say’s grownups can’t take a thrill ride to the unknown, who said we can’t have our cake and eat it too…Megan has proven we sure as hell can!

DemonFire by Kate Douglas.
I’ve heard questions being asked here and there…is Kate’s NEW series like her Wolf Tales? So I have put together a Q/A of sorts regarding Kate’s NEW series Vs wolf tales series.
Is DemonFire like Wolf Tales? = NO. This is two completely different series/stories.
DemonFire is more a Fantasy based tale- Whereas Wolf Tales hits more in the Erotic lines.
(Now I’m still a newby, and get fuzzy on the exact terminology on where the lines are drawn in Fantasy- But though there’s wonderful HEAT- DemonFire does not have the erotic lines/ ménage characteristics of WT)
DemonFire is set in a small town USA- You know, where everyone knows everyone. Well small town USA runs smack dab into the twilight zone, as ‘others’ become known, others as in paranormal entities. Heck they don’t just become known- they’re running amok and causing havoc!
(I’m trying to be careful and not spoil the book for anyone)
Thus enters our heroine and hero. Though coming from different backgrounds (to say the least) both combine wits and friends to fight on the same team. But the clock is ticking as one of them only has a limited amount of time.
And there is more havoc going on then what the Demons and their nasty little Gargoyle buddies are unleashing- there is the havoc the hero and heroine are causing on the each other’s heartstrings!
Can they save the town, the world? Can they even save their own hearts from utter destruction?
Romance?= YES.
Intrigue? = YES
Ménage?= NO
Action Packed?= YES
Whimsical? = YES
Angst? = YES
So for those of you that weren’t sure- or those of you that aren’t into STRONG Erotica, this is a SAFE read. Love, romance and heat yes- But not on the overly strong side.

Wow. This was my first read by this Author, and it certainly will not be my last. For those seeking a thrill ride that continuously keeps you walking that very thin line between what we ‘Should’ do and what we ‘Want’ to do. A devilishly crafted MUST read!
A woman battling both inner Demons as well as a few real ones, is thrust ovaries first into Lust, and a Life or Death… Soul rendering decision.
Which will win, Love, Lust or her very Soul?

Laid Bare blew me away, it was not just another fantastic Lauren book, it was utterly enthralling!
The love, lust and pain were momentous. Even as your heart ached... painfully ached for the characters, the promise of love bloomed all around.
Lust? I caught myself fanning myself on more than one occasion. This IS one of those ‘can’t put down until DONE’ type of books.
Original and packed full of textured flavor…this is sure to be a HIT with EVERYONE who reads it!
‘Laid Bare’ has just taken its place as my Favorite Lauren Dane novel. And I really…loved all her other tales, so for this to take front seat, SPEAKS VOLUMES!!!
